Clarkson McLaren: Our Board of Directors

Clarkson McLaren Corporate Communications was formed in February of 2004 by Anthony Clarkson and James McLaren who saw an opportunity to deliver corporate and business communications tools with a focus on professionalism and service excellence. Both Anthony and James have worked within the industry since deregulation and have acquired an impressive range of knowledge around the industry.

Due to strong growth and a recognition that the company would benefit further with a strong board to develop the company structure and the range of products and services on offer: a highly skilled board of directors was born.

Executive Director: Mr. Anthony Clarkson

Anthony has worked in the telecommunications industry since the market was deregulated. Originally starting in the fields of PABX and telephony Anthony then made the progression to telecommunications services for the corporate market.

Anthony has worked with a number of major and key service providers. Starting out within the industry as an account manager for a portfolio of more than $2.5M in clients. During that time he acquired a great deal of industry and technical knowledge that enabled him to maintain and grow his portfolio.

Due to the range of knowledge acquired he was presented with an opportunity to develop and implement a national compliance program for over 2700 staff. He was responsible for compliance with all regulations governing the practices of the company within the telecommunications guidelines. A successful externally audited compliance program was completed.

From there Anthony moved to work as an Operations Manager with an international telecommunications company and after a number of successful years, he became General Manager and specialised in communications and electronics.

Anthony’s management experience now covers every aspect of the industry including sales, marketing, client relations, service & operations and the regulatory environment.

During his career Anthony has arranged corporate sponsorships for sectors of the Australian community; including charity, suburban rugby, motor sports and community radio. Anthony believes in corporate citizenship and wants to ensure that Clarkson McLaren Corporate Communications is viewed as responsible member of the Australian community.

After experiencing the limitations and lack of vision within the industry, Anthony founded Clarkson McLaren Corporate Communications with James McLaren, who shares the beliefs in professionalism, accountability, strong ethics and a focus on service excellence.
